Setting Intentions for 2026 Using the Wheel of Life (Part 2, continued from Dec 31st post)
Mahan Khalsa | JAN 1
Once you’ve reflected on 2025, the Wheel of Life becomes a guide - not for fixing yourself, but for intentionally shaping the year ahead.
Rather than setting rigid resolutions, a holistic coaching lens focuses on alignment, sustainability, and nervous system support.
Look at your Wheel again and notice what stands out.
Ask:
Where do I feel drawn to offer more care or energy?
Which areas feel depleted, and why?
What feels most alive or ready to grow in 2026?
The numbers matter less than the felt sense. Your body and emotions often reveal what kind of support or change is actually needed.
Instead of trying to improve every part of life at once, choose one to three areas to focus on in the coming year.
Helpful questions include:
What would feel most nourishing to tend to now?
What kind of balance do I want to experience?
What would “enough” look like here?
Small, intentional shifts are often more powerful than dramatic overhauls.
Holistic intentions prioritize how you want to feel and live, not just what you want to achieve.
For example:
Rather than “exercise more,” try: Move my body in ways that feel supportive and enjoyable.
Rather than “be more productive,” try: Create rhythms that honor rest and focus.
Rather than “improve relationships,” try: Communicate with honesty, presence, and care.
These intentions support long-term change because they work with your system, not against it.
The Wheel of Life reminds us that we are whole beings, not projects to perfect. Growth unfolds naturally when it’s rooted in awareness, compassion, and choice.
As you step into 2026, let your intentions be shaped by:
What you’ve already lived and learned
What your body and heart are asking for
The quality of life you want to experience
When awareness leads, balance follows - over time.
Let this be your best year yet... and if we can support you in navigating your goals moving forward, book a coaching session.
