The 7 Day Holistic Reset: A Therapeutic Mind - Body Cleanse
Mahan Khalsa | JAN 29
The 7 Day Holistic Reset is a gentle, self-led cleanse designed to support emotional well-being, nervous system regulation, and the body’s natural detoxification processes. Created through a trauma-informed and holistic lens, this reset integrates yoga, breath work, meditation, journaling, and Chinese medicine–informed practices to support both physical and emotional balance.
At Relation Matters, we understand that stress, emotion, and unresolved experiences are held in the body. A holistic reset offers a structured way to work with the body’s internal systems while supporting psychological insight, safety, and integration.
In Chinese medicine, organ systems are closely linked with emotional patterns. From a clinical perspective, somatic and breath-based practices support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and increased body awareness - all foundational to therapeutic change.
Day 1: Clearing your space and establishing safety and intention
Day 2: Lung-focused yoga to support breath and release grief
Day 3: Kidney-supportive practices for fear, fatigue, and vitality
Day 4: Liver-focused movement to mobilize tension and process anger
Day 5: Heart-opening practices to cultivate joy and emotional openness
Day 6: Grounding practices for digestion, anxiety, and overthinking
Day 7: Full-body integration for balance, clarity, and resilience
Each session is 30 minutes, accessible, and designed to be practiced at your own pace.
Each day of the 7 Day Holistic Reset includes:
Gentle yoga and somatic movement to reduce stress and increase circulation
Breathwork and meditation to support emotional regulation and calm
Guided journaling to encourage reflection, insight, and integration
These tools are widely used in therapeutic settings to support the window of tolerance, helping the body and mind return to a state of regulation and ease.
This is not a restrictive or willpower-based cleanse. The 7 Day Holistic Reset supports the body’s natural rhythms while encouraging emotional awareness, self-compassion, and embodied presence.
Increased clarity and energy
Improved emotional awareness
A greater sense of grounding and internal balance
At Relation Matters, we believe that healing is embodied, relational, and integrative, and this offering reflects this holistically.
